Virginia House is a stunning, English Estate venue about 10 minutes outside of Richmond, Virginia. Fallon and Zach had a very small wedding during Covid and wanted something special designed for their day at this magical location. Shot by Andi Bravo Photography this beautiful day is rich with garden inspired florals, peach and pink tones PLUS a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown.
I designed a European inspired table with low floral vessels and flowing runners that drape to the stone floor. If you look close at the table you’ll see some fine art details that include, fruit accents, dried butterflies and glowing handmade beeswax candles.

All the table accents and pillows were from West Elm in Virginia Beach. I wanted something that would add color to the table, that would pop out against the stone of Virginia House. The velvet grapefruit color of these round accent pillows was the perfect choice.
This cake was designed to accent the bride’s dress! Even down to the tiny little butterfly detail on the side. Can you see it siting on the second tier of the cake? I love a delicate palette knife cake and this design by Sweet Gypsy Dessert Design was the right fit with the rest of the decor.
The Tuileries Wedding Gown by Monique Lhuillier is a true stunner. With a dramatic floral design and long train this gown is not for the average bride. If you’re looking for a non-traditional, show stopping wedding dress option for your day this is a romantic option.
